Due to her fathers work as a theatre sound engineer, Emilia was early brought into the theatre enviroment. Emilia discovered her passion for drama at the young age of three, when she accompanied her mother to the musical Show Boat. Her father worked behind the scenes of the play, and Emilia was immediately drawn by it. Drama quickly became one of her hobbies, but young Emilia also had other dreams; if she wheren’t supposted to be an actress, she would be an architect, a singer, or a graphic designer.

At the start of the new millennium, Emilia started at St Edward’s School in Oxford. She attented the school for five years, until she finished in 2005. Later on, Emilia began to study at the prestigious Drama Centre London, a school which known names like Paul Bettany, Colin Firth, and Pierce Brosnan had attented before her.
